Q. WHAT DOES THE MULTIDICIPLINARY APPROACH MEAN AND HOW WILL IT BENEFIT ME?
A. At Total Pain Solutions, we believe it is important to coordinate pain and injury with multiple treatment options. Our providers specialize in the process of pain management and are aware of what will be needed for your best possible outcome. This may include conservative medication management, injection medicine and physical rehabilitation. We have found that our patients’ success of recovery is increased when the treatment plan prescribed is followed by including all angles of care.
Q. WHY DO PATIENTS NEED A CONSULT WHEN REFERRING DOCTOR IS SENDING THEM TO US SPECIFICALLY FOR PT, ESI, ETC.?
A. Even though a patient may be referred for one specific treatment, upon their initial consult/evaluation, it might be necessary for them to be seen in multiple areas of our office (e.g., chiro, PT, ASC, etc.). By seeing our physician for the evaluation/consult, our physicians would be able to coordinate their pain management needs in all of these areas and keep their PCP informed of their treatment.
